Who can join Zid as a partner?
App developers and theme designers, individuals or companies. The only requirement: a solution that genuinely serves Zid merchants, and a commitment to the quality and support standards published in the partner terms.
Do I need approval before I start?
No. You create your account in the partner portal and start developing the same day. The only review happens when you submit to publish, and it covers a technical and functional check against published criteria.
Is there a joining fee?
No, joining is free. Zid takes a share of your solution's revenue only once it starts selling, and the share and billing details are set out in the partner agreement you review before publishing.
How do I get started?
Four steps: create your account in the partner portal, add your app or theme and get your development tools, build and test on a development store, then submit for review. Once approved, your solution reaches Zid merchants.
How long does review take before publishing?
You track your submission's status and the reviewer notes in the partner dashboard at every stage. If something needs changing, it comes back with specific notes rather than a blanket rejection.
What support do I get?
Technical support with response windows set in the agreement by issue priority, starting at 4 business hours for critical cases. The full table is in the FAQ on the App Partners page and the Theme Partners page.
You also get the developer docs at docs.zid.sa, the partner help center, the theme designers community on Telegram, and the option to book a call with the technical support or business team.
When do merchants start seeing my solution?
Immediately after review approval. Your first installs depend on how clear your market listing is and on merchant ratings, and the Zid team supports your launch with visibility and campaigns based on how your solution performs.
Can I promote my solution inside Zid?
Yes, through Partner Ads: market ranking comes from buying your position and time-boxed reach across Zid's merchant-facing channels — market results, featured sections, banners and targeted email — in published packages, and every paid placement is labelled "Sponsored". Open to partners in the green tier.
On top of that, qualifying partners get Zid's marketing channels: content and webinars, and seasonal and joint campaigns.
How do I get paid?
You track income, subscriptions and your next payout from the partner dashboard, and your earnings are transferred on the approved payout cycle once your invoice is approved.
I have a team — can I add members to the account?
Yes. You manage your team, add members and set their permissions from the partner dashboard.
What are my obligations around merchant data?
Handling merchant and customer data is governed by the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), security compliance is part of the review, and any security incident must be reported to Zid within 24 hours of discovery.
